Sleepsonic Pillow

I recently got a couple of messages from my followers concerning headphones and sleeping. If you are like me, then you may find it difficult or impossible to sleep on your back. I have never had any luck sleeping on my back my whole life. This makes it very hard for me to wear headphones while lying on my side.

I ran across the website, sleep sonic while browsing the internet yesterday. Basically it's a pillow with built in headphones. I am thinking about buying this for use with isochronic tones. I will make sure to post my full review if I buy it.

Has anyone had experience with this pillow, or a similar product? Feel free to post your experiences or questions in the comments below.

That's a damn good idea. I always sleep on my side, so I've had to use earbuds which suck as far as sound quality (for the most part) and hurt like hell by the time I wake up.

Seems like a good idea, as long as the speakers or headphones don't make the pillow uncomfortable. It does seem expensive though.

Nifty pillow. Haven't had one, but it looks cool. A friend of mine showed me this pillow that has lights in it that are supposed to slowly illuminate in the morning to gently wake you like the sun does, naturally. You could set the time on the pillow.

Kinda cool.

Sweet, this is awesome, I totally need this. Like you, I have trouble sleeping on my back as well. I'm looking forward to the review if you decide to purchase it.

When I sleep, the pillow was lying at my feet.

Thats a fantastic idea, so good I actually went on there site and bought 2 of them for myself and my wife. God knows how many ear buds i have destroyed in my sleep, simply because I wanted to listen to some music while I sleep.

@ KB - I love the concept of the pillow you described. I like to keep my window curtain slightly open so the sun can help me wake up. I might have to take a look at this pillow.

@ Ciriis - Be sure to let us know how the pillows work for you and your wife! Hopefully I'll get one soon.

Wow this is cool. I always toss and turn in bed so this would be a perfect alternative to sleeping with earphones.

My mind has been blown....

I don't think this will work, because when you lay on the pillow with one side down, the balance of volume will be totally gone. Also some binaural tones are different on two sides to create an effect. I won't buy this.

wow great stuff!! very cool blog. Ill be following your blog. Check out my blog too if youd like :)

@ Daan - This post was not about binuaral beats. It was about isochronic tones which do not require directional audio.

Those would work perfect. Wish they were in my price range though.

I need something like this, I tend to just leave my iTouch playing music out of the speaker or leave my pc running!

I think I had one of these for a while. They were okay but not exactly my cup of tea.

I can sleep on my back, but it still isn't as comfortable without headphones

If it worked as advertised that'd be great, it's just kinda hard to imagine though.
